Call for a theme song

To celebrate the contribution of our Havyaka women in all walks of life and the importance of womanhood in our culture, “Streeshakthi” has been selected as the theme for the 2022 Biennial Havyaka Convention.
We are calling for the Poem competition based on this theme.
Final winning contribution will be used as a theme song throughout the convention and in our Souvenir.

  Poem Should be in Kannada or Havigannada
• It should be your own creation
• It should be an unpublished (formal, informal social media etc.) creation
• It should be within 20 lines
• Competition is open only for the Havyakas living in the Americas( USA, Canada, LATAM) at this time

ಆತ್ಮೀಯರೇ,
ಜುಲೈ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಹವ್ಯಕ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುವಾಗಿ(theme) ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇದೇ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಥವಾ ಹವ್ಯಕ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ “ಉತ್ತರ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ ಖಂಡದ” ಹವ್ಯಕರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ “ಕವನ/ಪದ್ಯ” ರಚನೆಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಗೇಯವಾದ ಅಥವಾ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವಂತಹ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರಚಿತ ಕವನ/ಪದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಇದೇ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 31ರ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ articles@havyak.org ಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

• ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಥವಾ ಹವ್ಯಕ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 20 ಸಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀರದಂತೆ ಬರೆಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
• ಕವನವು ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹಾಡಲು ಸುಲಭವಾಗುವಂತಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
• ಕವನವು ಈ ವರೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿರಬಾರದು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾ ಖಂಡದ ಹವ್ಯಕರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
• ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ಹಿಮ್ಮೇಳ ಸಮೇತ ಹಾಡಿಸಿ ಹವ್ಯಕ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
